I bought Raph and Leo back in the day for $200. Back before there was re issues, these figures used to hold their value very well.

Also love that they outsource their work to non-US workers to save money but still charge $55 for figures with less accessories and framing "new" articulation that's been the standard in every collector space for the last ten years. Enjoy S7, but you're not keeping up with Jada or NECA, let alone Mafex.

Those engineers aren’t doing a good job whatsoever. The QC on super7 figures is absolutely the worst in the industry. The joints are so loose. Out of the thousands of figures I own the S7 figures take the most shelf dives. Shall we talk about devil Flanders???

It’s not the turtles we want.We wanted playmates OG versions.Plus with the countless QC they will definitely have problems like recent Thunder cats..These turtles seems to be doing the opposite of bringing back TMNT many still bought the OG versions those same people are saying they are out on turtles they have little or no connection and nostalgia for.

I still need to watch the 2003 TMNT cartoon. Saw a few episodes back when it first aired, but I seem to recall not liking there wasn't Shredder as the main bad guy, and stopped watching. I wouldn't mind if Super 7 did a Technodrome based on the original toy since it appears the Playmates version they put on Amazon is a smaller version than original. I still ordered it though.

On M.A.S.K., I'd like the same scale as the original. And recreate the original vehicles with mechanisms, but with better detail and paint, and recreate the figures, but base them on the cartoon. With more detail than the original. i.e. make them like a GI Joe but same scale as the original. I'd buy them.

The renders look cheap color wise but if on hand they look great I'll get them all

I think these figures represent something very interesting. For the last 10 years or so, the toy industry has been completely dominated by 80s pandering. For the last 5 years or so, 90s pandering has been the hot ticket in the toy industry. Could this set of figures possibly signify the true beginning of 2000s pandering? As somebody who was born in the mid-90s and whose childhood memories mainly took place in the 2000s, these figures are specifically targeted to my demographic. Is it time for the 2000s to join the 80s and 90s as a decade that consistently informs/inspires toy releases? Only time will tell

The torso on the Masterverse being a different colour is weird, but I guess it's not a stretch to imagine he simply has a different fur colour there.

I agree im not really fan of the movie style old school tmnt figures. I liked the storage shell old school turtle figures i feel like they had more of a bigger impact i guess thats just me though

Hmm. I didn't get the set... Only thing I received from raymond toys , which i'm still questioning is a real toy company until I get anything else from them. Lol And I don't care for this sat really.. I haven't put it on but whatever..guns and a little canapy.. It might not fit flush anyway.

I’ve been pretty supportive of the Haslab stuff over the last couple years. The Ghostbusters stuff has been awesome. The Ghost ship looks sweet. The Joe Copter, awesome! This release here…not so much. I don’t know if it’s the photos or what but it looks extremely cheap and I’m not biting. I noticed the initial boom of backers and then a significant drop off over the next 6 or so days. I’m sure it will get backed but at this price point for what it is I don’t see long term value at all. I couldn’t see myself displaying this with the other high end stuff I have displayed. My office is like a museum and this just doesn’t cut it.

Classics version wins at: - Skintone - Sword - Pants detailing - Armour painting more shiny - Longer cape Masterverse version wins at: - Face - Bigger Staff - Proportions of the body and armour - Articulation - Cape is actual fabric and its application is more detailed on the shoulders It's a draw 🤷🏼‍♂

Most HasLabs follow a similar pattern - spike at the beginning, spike at the end, flat in between. Due to the size and cost and specificity of this HasLab, I think it has a very niche market, moreso than most HasLabs. It's at 5,000 now. I expect it will fund, but am not sure how far up the tiers it gets.

The Star Wars Brand is decimated and isn’t coming back anytime soon. I have back many Haslab’s, but have no interest in giving Disney any more money.

Im done buying hasbro when it goes over a certain price, its a automatic no. Hasbro has that greed. Dont reward them for their greedy ways.

It is now over 5k and is still going up each day even if its slow. It is gonna back for sure, only need 3k more in 21 days. We will get most of that the last week of the Haslab. It is the tiers im worried about, hopefully we get a huge surge the last week to get at least a couple of the tiers. We will know more once the last 7 days kick in.

I'm not surprised the Cantina is moving slowly. It too expensive and you need a over 20 figures that were released between 1998 and 2019 to fill up the set. Not counting the Sail Barge, the most successful VTC HasLabs have been vehicles. They should have done the Imperial Shuttle or a Sandcrawler. I am not backing this because I don't have the space, and I'm not paying $500 for Wuher and Tonnika sisters. It's sad that the SW Haslabs always struggle. GI Joe, Ghosbusters, and Transformers Haslabs usually reach minimum funding within in a day or so. Hasbro also needs to space these out more. Maybe every quarter?

I think Hasbro offering Hellstrom from Engine of Vengeance [and Goblin Queen re-tooled] they may not be pay-walling things as hard as we thought.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills! $400/$500 for a few pieces of cheap plastic and no lights & sounds is what’s so absurd about this!! That’s the thing that should overshadow all other gripes! Yeah ok, the cantina isn’t your favorite setting - but this is the most ridiculous example of unrealistic inflation/corporate greed I’ve ever seen in modern toys.

Two weeks of SW talk is not my thing, but I'm still here. Hopeful for some S7 2003 turtles talk soon!

Its more likely the underlying cost of living issues is impacting this more than collector preferences. E.g. put any other Haslab (such as the Ghost or RC) in these same economic circumstances and they'd likely be going slower than their original runs.

Like Super7 Cobra base, the Cantina loosing it's shine. I think most people buying this, just for the in package figures. Id rather have the figures than the playset.

You gotta love how people complain about the lack of play value of this set. As if most toy collectors don't find a place for their playset and then never touch it again. It's a stupid argument anyway, due to the modularity a lot of people will play with it, be it to display it differently or for toy photography etc.
